Millenium Web Page Design offers many services at reasonable prices. The internet can be a fantastic inexpensive way to get information to your customers easily and quickly. With a relatively small cash outlay and proper planning you can give yourself or your small business a basic web presence immediately and then build on that as your internet needs and ideas grow. Personal homepages are also a great way to communicate and exchange information and pictures with relatives in other states.
The strength of my company will be making information easily obtainable by your customers. "Ease of Navigation" will always be paramount. If you are looking for a lot of flash, multimedia, or a great deal of interaction then I am probably not the designer for you. However, if getting your identity, useful information, or prices quickly and effectively to your customers is your main goal, we will probably be a good fit. As my company grows obviously my capabilities will increase as well. I intend to remain focused on keeping sites simple and basic in design. In doing so, I will be able to keep designing costs and update charges at a reasonable level. I also like working with color. The same basic design can have a dramatically different look by changing background and text colors.
The largest site I've designed so far was for our rental store in Washington, Illinois. My father and I closed our business late in 2001 so we could pursue other ventures, my web design company being one of them. When I started our site for Charlie's Rental Center, my main concern was to get as much of the overwhelming amount of information that pertained to our business available to our customers so they could study it 24-7. Allowing our customers to be more knowledgeable about our rates, policies, and services before entering our store, transformed into increased business, customer satisfaction, and reduced telephone time. I viewed the website not as an immediate cash generator but more like a flyer or brochure that you hand out at your counter. A website allows us to give customers hundreds of brochures and pictures at once, 24 hours a day. The response was phenomenal because our customers received far more information than we could give them at our counter. People seemed to be thrilled and excited to be able to view information and work on job bids at their convenience in their own home.
As far as personal homepages - again, simplicity will be stressed. I have many capabilities available for photos and images. Photography, scanning, printing, and digital photo manipulation to name a few. My family and friends utilize web pages to exchange photos and information rather than emailing individuals.
Look around my existing customers sites and find ideas for getting your information out....
Here are a few questions I asked myself before I started our homepage....

Why do you want your customers to use your site?
What do you want your users to accomplish on your site?
What content do you offer that will keep users on your site?
Why should they return?
Our biggest problem was making the initial plunge. That's why I thought out the entire site, made notes and sketches, and then started with only the homepage. Then as time and budget constraints allowed, we added new subject matter and pages slowly so I could get feedback as I went. We ended up with a very productive site for our customers with more than 70 total pages.
Give me a call and I will be glad to schedule an appointment with you. We can sit down and discuss your needs and ideas, make some sketches, and help you get started on building an effective web site. My initial visit is no charge or obligation. It will allow us to make sure that your web site goals and my services are a good fit.
The goal here at Millenium Web Page Design is simple - EFFECTIVE VALUE.
